I loved the message of this book. It will make you think differently about the value our society has come to put on doing everything fast. Read if you know the feeling of burnout, or being on the brink of!

Bregman recently made headlines for giving this year's Reith Lectures, and then criticising the BBC for censoring his comments about Trump. He's the poster boy for doing the right thing by the world, and his thoughts in this book are well worth a read.

This book delves deep into the value of kindness and compassion. In a world where they seem all to scarce, Wood puts forward a compelling argument for how important they are if we have a hope of solving the issues we face as a species.

This is most certainly the first book I have ever read about Economics, but it surprised me with how engaging and fascinating it made the topic. Raworth (very easily) exposes the major flaws in our current economic system and how we must urgently work together to change it.

05
A fascinating read which introduced me to the concept of a 'Thrutopia'. At this stage, a utopia is unlikely and a dystopia is best avoided (although some might argue we are already in one). This book sets out an alternative path which feels achievable.

A book that will make you think differently about creativity. One to dip in and out of, and it'll look great on your coffee table or bookshelf, to boot. Inspiring and beautiful.
